On September 10, 2018, OCR received notification from the President of Elmcroft Senior Living, Inc. that formally operated skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities have been transferred to Eclipse Senior Living on January 21, 2018. All healthcare business activities for the entity have ceased, and the entity is no longer operating as a business. Under these circumstances, Elmcroft Senior Living, Inc. is no longer a covered entity and is not subject to the requirements of HIPAA.
